This is our winter eat-and-meet! Bring your significant other, table service, non-alcoholic beverages and a
dish to pass! Note the change in start time for this eating meeting!

We will be accepting further nominations from members and electing officers and a trustee. So far nominations were made for President Jim B. N8RWK, V-P Steve R. KD8HIW, Secretary Leo N. NK8L, Treasurer Denny B. KC8IJZ
and Trustee Dick S. KA8VLN.

Our last program was the MI Section Manager Larry Camp, WB8R giving more details on the hamfest/convention at MIS. Some highlights: The weekend of Saturday-Sunday of October 7-8, 2017 on the MIS Infield is the date. They are applying for a 501 C 3 designation and are forming a Great Lakes Amateur Radio Association and will need 5-6 people and about $250 from each local club to get things started. Field Day Coordinator is Mark, KD8NOE. Field Day 2016 was held at the Spring Arbor Fire Station. Results are not yet available.
